Product description

Nylon toothbrushes are a trusted classic in oral care, valued for their durability and reliable clean. Medium-hard bristles deliver an even, thorough brush that’s gentle on the gums and effective on plaque. The handle is shaped from cellulose acetate, the same plant-based material used in premium eyewear. Made from cotton and wood pulp rather than petroleum, naturally anti-bacterial. Each toothbrush is unique, no two pieces share the same pattern. Every brush is hand-polished to a smooth, refined finish.

Bristle
Medium-hard nylon bristles, even-cut for consistent contact across the head. Firmer than soft, but stops short of true hard bristles, which can wear down enamel over time. Nylon doesn't absorb water, so the head dries quickly and stays hygienic between brushes.

Handle
Cellulose acetate is a plant-based alternative to plastic, made from cotton and wood pulp. Because it comes from renewable sources rather than petroleum, it's a more sustainable choice than plastic. It absorbs almost no moisture, which keeps bacterial growth low. And the natural sheen and warmth in the hand come from the material itself, not a coating.

Production
Every handle is heated, shaped, and polished by hand. The polishing is done one piece at a time, which is where the natural sheen comes from. The bristles are trimmed on the head for a soft, even profile, not cut flat. None of it is fast, and that's the point.

How soft should your toothbrush be?

The softness of the bristles matters more than people think. It's the difference between a brush that cleans your teeth and one that wears down your gums over time. Here's the spectrum, from softest to hardest.

Extra soft

The gentlest option. For people with gum issues, sensitive gums, or those recovering from dental surgery.

Soft

What dentists recommend for most people. Gentle on gums and enamel without compromising the clean.

Medium

Stiffer bristles for those who prefer a more intense cleaning. Can be too harsh on sensitive gums.

Hard

Stiff bristles that scrub aggressively. Over time they can damage gums and wear down enamel. Not recommended for daily use, with rare exceptions like denture cleaning.
